Agriculture - biofuels - adaptation to climate goals

On November 15, the seminar Agriculture - Biofuel - Adaptation to climate goals was held at the EU House in Riga. At the seminar, RTU researchers presented the successfully developed patent financed by the EU fund for improving the biodiesel production process. The participants of the seminar discussed the controversial topics of the contribution of biofuels in reducing emissions and the efficiency of agricultural land use, as well as the achievement of the EU's renewable energy goals in the context of geopolitical tensions. The participants listened to the opinions of experts from the Baltic States and EU organizations.
