The first #MansZemesPulss semi-finals have been successfully held in Riga and Jelgava!

With great joy and pride, we have successfully concluded the first #MansZemesPulss youth competition regional semi-finals in Riga and Zemgale, bringing together active, creative, and motivated young people from various schools.

During the events, participants not only presented their ideas on sustainability and climate-related topics but also took part in creative activities while preparing for the competition final. Working in teams, young people developed new video concepts and scripts on relevant sustainability topics, presented their ideas to the jury, and received valuable feedback for further improvement.

The semi-final participants also had the opportunity to gain inspiration from guest speakers. Jānis Vītols from CUBE Comms video agency, which specialises in digital marketing and creative solutions, shared insights on digital content creation, creativity, and engaging audiences. Young people also learned about education and career opportunities presented by representatives of Riga State Technical School and the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies.

Meanwhile, jury members provided professional feedback on participants’ ideas, evaluating their creativity, sustainability messages, and potential to inspire and engage other young people.
